Multacom Datacenters offer complete redundancy in power,
HVAC, fire suppression (FM-200),network connectivity and
security, incorporating raised flooring (DC1 & DC3),
dual power grids, UPS battery backup power and diesel
generators.
Two primary Multacom Data Centers are located on the 4th
floor of 707 Wilshire Blvd. in downtown Los Angeles,
This location enables us to connect easily to virtually
any backbone provider and scale our internet
connectivity to meet client's needs. Additionally the
Network is directly connected via diverse path Fiber
Optic lines to many of the other carrier buildings in
downtown such as One Wilshire and 818 W. 7th which host
our network equipment. Services offered at these
datacenters include private caged suites, cabinets,
half-cabinets and rack space.
Datacenters are continuously monitored via video
surveillance cameras and 24 hour on-site security
personnel. With use of sophisticated two-tier access
control systems, access to 4th floor, elevators as well
as the Datacenters is restricted and controlled via HID
contact-less access control system. Video is stored in
secure room at Datacenter 3, two miles east of this
location.
> POWER :
True 2(N+1) Design, step higher fault tolerance then N+1
offered by most other datacenters. Power is provided via
two active feeds from two power busses which are
connected to separate and independent Diesel Generators
and finally backed up by two redundant UPS systems. In
addition to the most fault tolerant system in both
datacenters, Datacenter 1 (Suite 405) also has an
additional power source with its own UPS backup system
providing divergent power supply.
Datacenter 1, 110V, 220V and 48V DC Power can be
provisioned.
Datacenter 2, 110V 20A Circuits.
Datacenter 3, 110V and 220V 15A, 20A, 30A Circuits.
> COOLING:
Both datacenters employ redundant set of 11 HVAC systems
which are controlled by an automated software. One set
of the HVAC units (Primary Set) utilizes building
chilled water and the other set (Secondary Set) utilizes
dedicated chillers which are on the side of the building
and are independent of buildings chilled water supply.
> NETWORK:
The location uses diverse conduit paths to many other
carrier buildings in downtown Los Angeles. Minimum of
192 strands of dark fiber between each connected
building and divergent path to many of the carrier
buildings ensures unsurpassed network reliability at
this location.
